The following are the terms and conditions of use of this website for Surf School Lanzarote and its services. If you do not accept these conditions, you must not use this website or services.
Please refer to our Privacy Policy. Our holiday terms and conditions can be found during the booking process and in this section.
Unless specified to the contrary, the contents of this website and these pages are protected by copyright. The authors and creators of the material on the website assert their moral rights. The Surf School Lanzarote logos and contents of this website (including text, design and graphics) are copyrighted materials of Surf School Lanzarote and TCE Jones. All rights are reserved. They may not be used, transmitted or reproduced unless in accordance with prior written instructions issued by Surf School Lanzarote and TCE Jones. No use, transmission or reproduction is permitted without our express, prior permission.
Covid-19 Prevention
A negative Covid-19 test must be taken 72 hours prior to arrival in Lanzarote, and this test document can be produced. It is vital during this period of Covid-19 that THIS LINK is opened and studied carefully, it describes the measures for hygiene and prevention of transmission of Covid-19. On arrival at the school you will be given a Covid-19 questionnaire, which must be signed by all group members. Please ensure that the Radar Cover App has been downloaded.

Course Cancellation Notification
All courses that have been cancelled inside of a 30 day period prior to the start of the course are entitled to a course credit that corresponds with the same number of course days.
Clients will have the opportunity to place a new reservation for within a 2 year period for new dates, providing there is availability for their requested times. The dates cannot be the 19th Dec to the 7th Jan of any year.
All courses cancelled by clients outside of a 30 day period prior to the start of the course will be fully refunded minus a 20€ administration fee. This cancellation must be notified in writing.
Changing you booking with Surf School Lanzarote
We will make every effort to arrange any changes you request after the booking has been confirmed; however any changes to dates or courses are subject to availability of accommodation and course places.
Course Payments
Surf School Lanzarote is responsible for the card transaction being made on our website. All prices quoted are €
The prices advertised on our website and other media are accurate at the date of publication.
Course payments are made in the € currency that is clearly displayed on our Prices and Booking of our main website and on the Information and Booking page. The payment will be made within 2 weeks of Booking Form being received unless under prior written arrangement with Surf School Lanzarote.
Accommodation Fees
Accommodation fees are paid in full in € cash on arrival at Surf School Lanzarote.
Apartment Cancellations
There will be no charges for the cancellation of an apartment booked.
Cancellation by clients during the course period
Client’s already on the course wishing to not attend pre booked days for their own personal reasons will lose those booked days. We do not base attendance at the course on the available surfing conditions.
Cancellation by Surf School Lanzarote
In the unlikely event of a full days course being cancelled by us for any reason and no teaching of any form taking place we will make every effort to reschedule course days and if not possible we will offer full day course credits to be taken in a 2 year period from the date of the missed course day combined with further course dates being booked.
Surf Conditions
Lanzarote and Famara Beach has been chosen by us for the quality and consistency of surf it offers but as a company we are not responsible for poor surf or bad weather. We provide details of conditions on our website pages but it is your responsibility to ensure that all conditions are researched by you and that you are happy with your selection of Lanzarote.
Insurance
All clients are covered by our Civil Liability and 3rd party insurance while on the course with us.
As with any activity holiday, full travel insurance is a requirement for all guests booking a holiday with Surf School Lanzarote. Please make sure that your insurance policy covers you for surfing. Failure to take out travel insurance breaks the contract between Surf School Lanzarote and the client. Do contact us for recommended reputable insurance companies that cover surfing.
Client Prerequisites
All clients participating in any such activity must demonstrate a reasonable level of fitness and must be able to swim a minimum of 50 meters a pool. All clients must inform us on our booking form of any medical conditions, illnesses or allergies or dietary concerns
Anybody with a heart condition, or is pregnant, or under the influence of any alcohol, drugs or medicine which may adversely affect their physical abilities must not and may not be allowed to participate in any of the activities under any circumstances.
All participants must agree to abide by all instruction and all decisions made by the instructors to ensure their safety.
Minimum Age
Surf School Lanzarote has a minimum age of 8 years of age to participate in the courses and all children must be able to swim a minimum of 50 meters in a pool.
Your acceptance of these terms
By using this Site, you signify your acceptance of this policy and terms of service. If you do not agree to this policy, please do not use our Site. Your continued use of the Site following the posting of changes to this policy will be deemed your acceptance of those changes. Placing an order on the site requires the user to tick a checkbox to confirm they have read and understand these terms and policies.
